You only need one reason to stay.

  • This moment is not your whole life

  • There are people you have not met yet
  • There are places you have not stood
  • Your worst day does not define you
  • Healing does not have a deadline
  • You are allowed to begin again
  • Help can still work
  • Your story has pages left
  • You deserve to see what comes next

A suicidal crisis is a period of time, and most people come through it. Talk to someone now: call Samaritans on 116 123 or text BLUELIGHT to 85258.

Worried about someone?

Ask them directly. Stay with them. Help them reach support.

Asking about suicide does not put the idea in someone's head.

What to do next

Some roles do not yet have a dedicated line, including HM Coastguard and many search and rescue volunteers. That gap is part of why this cause exists. If you know of a line we should add, tell us.
