What applies when you buy from us.
These cover anything bought from our shop. Donations are a separate thing and are not covered here.
Who we are
Silence Between Sirens CIC, a Community Interest Company registered in England and Wales, company number 17272483, registered office Unit 16, Chivenor Business Park, Barnstaple, EX31 4AY. Email info@silencebetweensirens.com.
Prices and postage
All prices are in pounds sterling. Postage is £1.95, second class within the United Kingdom, added at checkout and charged once for the whole order however many items it contains. A donation made on its own is not posted, so no postage is charged on it. We do not ship outside the United Kingdom at present.
We are not registered for VAT, so no VAT is charged.
Your order
Your order is accepted when we take payment and send you a receipt. If we cannot fulfil it, because something has sold out or a price was wrong, we will tell you and refund you in full.
Stock and limited runs
Some items are made in small numbers and are described that way on the page. We keep the counts on the site as current as we can, but orders can cross. If we take your money for something we no longer have, we will tell you promptly and refund you in full.
Delivery
Items we hold in stock are posted within three business days. Items made to order in a drop are posted after the drop closes, by the date given on the shop page. Once a parcel is with Royal Mail, its timing is not in our hands.
Personalised items
The Yeti tumbler can be engraved on the back with a name, nickname, shoulder number, chevrons or pips, at no extra cost. Tell us what you would like in the personalisation box at checkout. We will email you to confirm the wording before anything is engraved, and nothing is engraved until you have replied.
We engrave the name, rank or shoulder number you tell us is yours. We may decline wording, and refund you in full, if it is offensive, if it identifies someone who has not agreed to it, or if it does not fit.
An engraved item is made to your specification, so the fourteen day right to change your mind does not apply to it. That is the only right it affects. If it arrives damaged, faulty or not what you asked us to engrave, you have exactly the same rights as on anything else we sell.
Returns
See our returns and refunds page. Your statutory rights are not affected.
Payment
Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or hold your card details.
Our liability
We do not exclude our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Otherwise, our liability to you for anything connected with an order is limited to what you paid for it. We are not liable for delays outside our reasonable control.
Changes
We may change these terms. The version on the site when you order is the one that applies to your order.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
